I figured it was about time I gave my promised update regarding my switch to the Dvorak keyboard layout.
It has been almost three weeks since I switched and I am typing at a decent speed and slowly getting back to my normal typing speed.
I stopped using the tutors after the first week and have been learning by doing my normal routine (e.g. chatting on irc, instant messaging, etc). I do have the occasional mix up and hit the wrong key but that is to be expected..
I like Dvorak and I have no plans to go back to the Qwerty layout.

Awesome, I might want to give it a spin one day. My biggest problem is getting my keyboard switched over. I wonder if my Dell Quiet Key would allow >_>
if the keys are
if the keys are non-interchangeable (e.g. each key is a different size or angle) then you wont be able too as it would be a major annoyance to type on.
Since I use IBM Model M keyboards it is extremely easy to convert the keyboard as the key caps can seperate from the key stem.

Are you in a position where you don't have to switch back and forth between the two layouts? I have to work on other machines so found it too hard to keep straight between the two layouts. (Heck I get the layout on my telephone mixed up with the layout on my numeric keypad.)
