
I just realized yesterday marked fifteen years since Linus Torvalds posted a message to comp.os.minix and announced Linux to the world.
"I'm doing a (free) operating system (just a hobby, won't be big and
professional like gnu) for 386(486) AT clones."
I remember first getting into Linux in the mid '90s and looking back you can really see how far it has come since then.
I would like to take a moment to thank Linus and every programmer who has ever worked on Linux for creating such a great operating system.
