Firefox 2.0

Firefox

I am a long time Galeon user, but I recently decided to put it aside in order to try out the recent release candidate builds of Firefox 2.0 for a little while.

After using the release candidate for over a week or so now, I have to decided that I may just end up switching completely over to Firefox 2 as my primary browser in the near future.

Of course nothing is certain, but it will at least give me something to ponder over for a bit...

Hmm, I have been a rather

Hmm, I have been a rather loud doubter of Firefox on Linux, because it always felt to me like a browser made for windows then hacked to work on Linux, so I've been using Epiphany most of the time recently (and Galeon before that). But like you I've tried the new RC3 build of Firefox and it is actually pretty nice. It is mighty tempting.

I feel so dirty and cheap for going against my own advice about Firefox...

Ya, I know the feeling.
Why would you switch to epiphany though? It is inferior to galeon (in my opinion).

Now that Firefox 2.0 final

Now that Firefox 2.0 final is out, I love this program both in Windows and in Linux. It took me a little bit to get used to the close button being on each tab, but now the old way seems so "odd".
