I was going through some old discs the other day and made a discovery. I found screen shots, styles, and configuration files that dated back to mid-2001, when I was a blackbox user.
I had recently been thinking of recreating the old style I had made back then so I could use it on openbox. I thought that it was a bit of a shame that I didn't have a screen shot of it when I suddenly stumbled upon the files that I had wanted.
I chalk it up to sheer luck of course and looking at all the files sure brings back a lot of memories. Although, It is a shame that I don't think I'll be able to find anything older that that.
It would be cool if I could find some of my files dating back to the mid to late 90s when I was just starting out with GNU/Linux.

Old stuff~
I love finding old files. Especially screen shots, it's a nice reminder to how you used to work, and the old habits you harbored. I found a 2gig HDD I got in 99 from my Uncle filled with old homework, some pictures, and my old bookmarks folder. 90% of the sites were dead, and some contained ~s in the name. : (
Agreed.
Agreed, it can be rather interesting looking back at stuff.
I also enjoy looking at old screen shots that I find :)
