After years of only using ATI products as my video cards of choice I finally jumped ship today.
I purchased an GeForce FX 5200 and although it is not the best card on the market it suits my needs perfectly.

The reasons for my switch are fairly simple..

• nVidia's drivers and utilities for GNU/Linux are simply superior to that of ATI.
• The FX 5200 is fairly cheap (sub $100 range) and more importantly it was also superior to that of my aging Radeon.
