Identi.ca recently added support for groups so I added one for Openbox in case anyone was interested.

Dana has announced the release of Openbox 3.4.7-pre2 for testing purposes.
There are a lot of excellent changes for 3.4.7, all of which can be viewed in the CHANGELOG file should you desire to see what they are.

I will be upgrading to it in the next few minutes to help do my part and it would be great if we can get others to do the same.

If you are interested in helping, please download openbox-3.4.7-pre2.tar.gz and report any bugs that you find to the Openbox Bugzilla so that they can be properly tracked.

When filing bug reports, please include the best way for the developers to reproduce the problem and check to see if a similar bug report as already been filed.

Openbox is in need of some people to help test the upcoming 3.4.5 release.

Current 3.4.5 Changelog:

• Updated Finnish, Russian, German and French translations
• Fixed some very minor memory leaks
• Hide the desktop popup when showing the focus popup
• Fix a crash when trying to access the More... menu of client-list-combined-menu
• Fix the coordinate popup only showing up on the first monitor in xinerama

I haven't been posting as of late as I have not thought of anything interesting or worth writing about as of late.

A preview release of Openbox 3.4 is available for anyone that wishes to give it a spin.

If you have not been keeping up with Openbox's development, here is your chance to see what you have been missing.

Please keep in mind that this preview will obviously not contain all of the changes for the upcoming release (e.g., XML-based themes). When Openbox 3.4 is released it will require changes to your configuration.
