Vim 7 gets my thumb of approval

I finally got around to upgrading to Vim 7 today and although I have only played around with it a little bit thus far, I can tell you now that I absolutely love the new features that are in this release.

I can already say that I have three definite favorites out of all the new features and enhancements within Vim 7. My favorites are of course the in-line spell checking, tab page, and code completion features.

I totally forgot Vim7 was even in the works until I stumbled across this post. Considering I spend at least 8 hours of my day using Vim I can honestly say I'm glad I did; Vim7 is a huge leap over the already fantastic Vim6 and the new features make it a lot easier and more productive. Ah, good were the days when I wanted to code things simply to use Vim.

Somehow even at the beginning I preferred VIM over Emacs. Though I gotta say that Pico is nice, too.

Yes. It's the same with me..

Yes. It's the same with me.. I also have never really cared for Emacs.
The only other editor I like is VE (although I rarely ever use it). It's a another small (70K) yet powerful editor.
